June 13, 2017

This week, over 400 cowboys and cowgirls from over 100 universities and colleges have made their way to Casper, Wyoming to put their rodeo skills to the ultimate test at the 2017 College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR). This is where the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association crowns individual event champions in saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying.

Performances start Tuesday evening and champions will be crowed following the final performance on Saturday, June 17. Winners in each of the seven traditional rodeo events (tie-down, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bareback, barrel racing, bull riding, and team roping) will earn an exemption to RFD-TV's THE AMERICAN Semi-Finals for a chance to compete in the world's richest one-day rodeo, held at AT&T Stadium on Feb. 25 2018.

You can watch LIVE coverage of the CNFR starting Saturday afternoon on RFD-TV's THE AMERICAN Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
