Fort Worth got styled today in the AARP Fan Zone during the fashion show in honor of RFD-TV's The American rodeo, presented by DISH. Produced by Katy Jade and Janzen Tew, of Denim & Velvet, the event sourced area boutiques like Sassy PantzMaverick's Fine Western WearCavender's, and Texas Gold Miners to show off the latest trends in Western wear. The event included sponsors of The American such as Wrangler, Resistol, and Ariat. Additional sponsors of the fashion show included Charlie One Horse.

Former Miss Rodeo America and RFD-TV star, Pam Minick, emceed in a fashionable black outfit and a studded Charlie One Horse hat. 

Mary Horton-Wilson, the mother of model Makiah Horton, said, “It was such an honor to be a part of the fashion show with RFD-TV. The American is such a prestigious event and we are honored to be a part of it. Katy Jade and Janzen have done an awesome job getting this event together.”

Western lifestyle influencer and blogger Mckenzie Kimbro of RFD-TV’s ”Roots Run Deep” gave us a recap of the event with Denim & Velvet, chatting with the models and organizers and showcasing some style tips for getting "red carpet" ready for the world's richest one-day rodeo.
