On last night's post-performance edition of RFD-TV’s “Road to THE AMERICAN,” Steve Kenyon spoke with KC Jones, founder of profantasyrodeo.com, and with Douglas White, of Kingsburg, CA, who won this year’s THE AMERICAN Fantasy Rodeo. White, a first-time ever fantasy rodeo player, acknowledged candidly that the secret to his success was pretty much pure luck. “I've been watching the PRCA National Finals for quite a few years,“ he said in the live-via-phone interview, “and I just knew a few names and got a little lucky."

Among the mechanic and part-time almond farmer's winning picks were: Kaycee Feild in the Bareback Riding; Ty Erickson in the Steer Wrestling; Ryder Wright in the Saddle Bronc Riding; Hailey Kinsel in the Barrel Racing, and Cody Teel in the Bull Riding.

As the Grand Prize Winner, White will receive a Mahindra Retriever ATV, and a custom gold, silver, ruby, and sapphire belt buckle, just like the ones the winning athletes received.
